No one helps another,

and hunger shadows every door.

Liars betray brothers,

and rich men quickly join the poor.

Sorrow wanders everywhere,

not one alive has seen no pain.

Cheaters tell you to play fair,

and dreams are crushed in pouring rain.

Debt builds up a mighty bill,

and cruelty throws you on your face.

It never changes, never will,

the world is an uncaring place.

Everyone's somehow a crook,

and failure comes with every try.

I see this everywhere I look,

life sucks, and then you die.
